Historical Villa only a few minutes away from Leaning Tower
VILLA TOWER INN is…
Villa Tower Inn, originally Villino Marazzini, is structurally characterized by the union of three structures different between each other in heights and roofing: the central one is formed by a turret-altana closed by a large pitched roof that recalls the theme of the medieval castle.
On the first floor there is a central terrace with a balustrade of pillars, adorned with geometric elements.
Very interesting are also the rectangular openings where the frames are located: one different from the other with decorative elements inspired to the medieval architecture of Pisa, as well as some windows (mullioned windows) divided in half by a column, typical of the Renaissance.
Looking from outside the structure is the traditional art nouveau villa constructed in 1920 by the Engineer Federigo Severini from Pisa. But inside it reveals its diversity: bright interiors, open spaces full of life, after a careful restoration work that has enhanced the original structure without modifying it.
